Cheesing it up
One morning this week, he woke up and his hair was all over the place. So I got it wet and combed it down. He started smiling for me in his high chair and I couldn't resist a picture.

Cousins, Witches and Football
Last Thursday night--Jacob and dad doing some male bonding over the BYU football game. You can see the BYU logo in the window. So sad they lost!!
My friend, Tamsin, her daughter Emma, and I went to Gardner Village on Friday to see the witches they have out on display. Lots of people since it was UEA weekend. Jacob really didn't seem to get into it much this year. I'm guessing he might need to be a bit older. It ws great weather and fun to get out. We managed to get this picture before he tumbled over into the hay.
Playing with cousins. Mylee and Emma came over last week and played with Jacob. Mylee kept moving before I could snap a picture.

So Hard to Find Good Help These Days!
Converstation with the maid this morning:
Self A: We need to clean the house today.
Self B: I do not want to clean house today, I am too tired.
Self A: Have you seen the way you have let the dusting go around here? The blinds are a mess. Every time I open them in the morning I see an "inch" of dust on them!
Self B: Stop opening them and you won't see the dust.
Self A: Ah, but if you vaccum and dust while the baby is asleep think of how good you'll feel about it.
Self B: Yawn
Self A won over Self B (Did you see the way she looked at me--after all we do for her!) and while the baby was asleep we got the upstairs vaccumed and dusted.
Bummer it woke up the baby.

Question About Ding Dongs
When I was growing up Ding Dongs were a treat. Saved for special occasions such as a field trip lunch dessert or when we went on vacation. They were so good and creamy.
So the other day I saw them by the check out and thought, "It has been years since I've had one of those. I think I'll buy a box."
My question: Have the Ding Dongs gotten smaller, drier, and less tasty or have my taste buds gotten old?
