March

Leah and Jacob riding Front Runner
Planetarium
Playing after lunch.

March 1st was free fare day with UTA.  It was also a day off school for Parent Teacher Conf. comp day. A group of us decided to ride Front Runner train to downtown.  Always wanted to try it.

We had Sally, Wendy, Tina and all of our kids.  We went downtown to the Clark Planetarium.  Afterward we took Trax to City Creek mall for lunch.  Had a fun time!  Kids loved the train.

Chevron sponsored Kid's film festival at SL library

Chevron sponsored a kid's film festival.  We chose a movie and took Jacob and his friends, Jaxon N., Jaxon, C, Andy and Alex B. and Alex N.  The movie was about a boy and girl trapped in space, but not realizing it until an alien comes on board and lets them know.  OK movie...it was a foreign film in Swedish.

Then came Jacob's 11th birthday.  He wanted breakfast in bed, but later opted for a TV tray.
We then opened presents, scout pants/sash, book, ear buds etc.
For dinner he wanted McDonalds and then we took him, Jaxon N. and Gabe W. to see Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse.

After the movie we took Jaxon home because he doesn't like cake (I have to say, kids these days are a ton harder to feed.  Much pickier than I ever remember.)  Gabe stayed, which was great, and we enjoyed cake and ice cream.  Can't believe he is 11!

Parker's wife, Mackenzie, is having a baby girl.  Due date is June 4th.  We had a baby shower for her at the end of the month.
