June Covid Blah....

And.....I officially hate Covid.  June has been hard for me. I feel frustrated at every turn.  Can't go anywhere.  Can't plan a vacation.  Numbers have been as high as 676.  I know some of that was expected as you open the economy more people will interact and the number will go up.

In addition to Covid a black man was killed by a police officer and they began Black Lives Matter protests.  Things do need to change, but it seems like it was the perfect storm with Covid and this happening.  Hopefully things will change.  Everyone should be treated fairly, but it makes it one more thing that is opressive.

Jared and Stephanie decided to flip their strip so Jacob and I went over to help dig.  It was a lot of work!

Jacob playing over at Jaxon's

We got together again with Anderson's and went to Wheeler Farm. It was a cool, rainy day.  Weather we should have had back in April.   Look at the different 10 years makes.  2010 and 2020.

Finally taller than Grandma

Even though we're trying to stay away from people...Jacob and I headed to the dentist.  Worked out pretty well.
With Bridger moving he gave Jacob this giant ring pop and a note saying thank you for being my friend.

Helping paint the fence to sell the house. They ended up painting each other!
Water time!

We went up to Silver lake on a Saturday afternoon with Jared's family.  Tried to hike up to twin lakes, but it was too far and too late...no energy.

Silver Lake

Father's Day.  He got a wireless keyboard (that he picked out) and a shirt (that I took back).

Jared and Stephanie came over for a fire pit.
Jacob shaking soda to get it to pop when he dropped it.  The neighbors who are moving were cleaning out food storage.

Periodically Marcia has the use of her neighbor's swimming pool and she invites us.  It has been hot and so nice to be able to go over.  Here Jacob and Adam are trying to squirt each other.

Another thing we're hitting this summer is boredom.  Here is Jacob being bored.  So we invited Jaxon over to hang out.

When Wendy came to pick him up the boys were burning this year's school work!

So 1 week after Father's Day we had Jason's birthday.  I tried another shirt and this one worked!  Apple pie for dessert.
I don't want to make this blog a downer and so usually include the happier parts of our lives.  But I have to say that I do not like Covid.  Make it hard to do much.  Next month we're going camping at Flaming Gorge with Jared and Josh's families.  Something to look forward to.
