September

September 1st I went with Marcia to the live taping of Studio 5...for the Season 17 opening show.  We ran into Andrea, who had gotten tickets for the show also.

In August I had a crown put on and they
did the prop work for another tooth--a
previous crown that had a cavity
underneath it.  They tried to save it, but
it had to be extracted and I opted for an
implant.  Here is the extraction.  Not
too bad, but now I have to wait for the
bone to heal.

Jacob wanted to go to McDonalds for lunch.
I was grocery shopping and stopped by to see what
he was doing.

Bye Mom!

Learning to shave.  Jacob has had some fuzz on his upper lip for a while.  He decided to learn to shave.

Clean as a whistle!

Heidi and David put a pool in their backyard.  We went over on Labor Day to swim.  It was so nice!  Malia and MacKennzie were there with their kids, Brady, Rio and Oscar.  So fun to see everyone!

Bike race day.  September 10 in Cedar City.  Earlier that week we had Karen, Randy and MarySue over for Karen's bday.  Jason was beginning to feel like he was getting a cold.  Thursday he was sick.  Friday, he felt a little better and drove down to Cedar City with us.
We arrived and went straight to the bike park for the pre-ride.
We had dinner there with the team and then headed to the hotel.
Saturday I took Jacob to the race and Jason stayed at the hotel.  He had a cold.
Jacob did well on the race and felt good about his finish.

The next week Jacob and I got Jason's cold.  It just made us feel blah, coughing and not want to do much.

Thursday of that week we  had a Stake Relief Society activity with Matt Townsend speaking.  He was so good!

This past weekend was the bike race at Soldier Hollow.  Jacob did not feel like racing so Jason went to cover the team shifts he had signed up to help with.  I stayed home with Jacob and he worked on his skateboard skills.

Jacob has also started the Esports team.  He is excited.  Will be fun to see how it turns out.
