Jacob reached the age that the ties he has had for several year are too small. He and Jason went tie shopping and Jason taught him how to tie a tie. He needed help the first week or 2, but now he has it down and does a great job!
Back in October we were at Cathey's house for dinner and I commented on how helpful the girls were in the kitchen How I would love help like that. Morgan latched right on to that and later told Wendy that she needed to come help me. That on a Friday, she would come home, have a snack, and then Wendy could drive her to my house so she could help. :)
So we talked about it and decided she would come over to make cookies, have dinner with us and then we would take the cookies over to share with her family.
It really was fun to bake with her. She did a good job and was fun to chat with. After dinner we went over to Cathey's with the cookies and played some games.
The next weekend Jacob had a camp out with the YM. They went to Goblin Valley. Jacob seemed to have a good time.
The following weekend, on Friday, Ashlyn came over to make a Key Lime pie and have dinner with us. Catheys then came over to try the pie. No one was very enamored with it. Hung out and watched a video together.
Catheys have gotten way into playing Frisbee on Saturday mornings. A group meets up at our church field to play rain or shine. They played all summer and into the fall. Jason and Jaxon went to play with them one weekend.
Thanksgiving! We had Thanksgiving at Mom's this year with Erick's family. Mallory was also there from BYU-I. It was fun to visit with everyone and eat turkey!

Day after Thanksgiving we put up the tree and other decorations. I really need to take pictures of what the family room looks like decorated.
The Monday after Thanksgiving was the funeral of the mother of one of my friends Andrea. We were at the viewing and there was Elder Christopherson. He is Andrea's uncle. Her mother's sister's husband. He was very nice. Kind of different to stand next to an apostle.
