May - Covid-19 Continues

Covid continues....beginning of the month Utah went from Red to Orange...which meant we could lighten up a little.  Numbers of Covid cases seem to hold at a low number, but mid month they lowered us to Yellow.  I was surprised since the quarantine period is 14 days.  We hadn't even hit that before we went to yellow.  Thing seemed OK.

Jason continues at home.  Chevron gave employees $300 to spend on ergo furniture and Jason purchased a sit/stand desk.  His old desk was big and we would have needed Jared to get it out.  Due to trying to stay away from people we couldn't have him come over to help.  So Jason cut up the desk.  He didn't have a file drawer with the new desk so he converted the old one and put it on casters.  Here he is bringing it inside after attaching the coasters.  Jacob decided to climb in.
As school wound down I erased our kitchen board with the
daily schedule.  When Jacob saw it he added this.

One of Jacob's school assignments.  Solar system for science class.

Here we had BBQ chicken for dinner and Jacob was displaying how he ate it.

Brenda Anderson and the boys contacted us and we did a few activities with them.  Here we hiked to Rocky Mouth and afterwards went fot ice cream.

We had a fire pit and invited Bridger to join us.  I had my jacket on mainly because I didn't want my hair to smell like smoke afterwards.

For Mother's Day all the girls went over to Mom's for lunch on the Saturday before.  Fun to see everyone.

Malia layed Brady down on Mom's bed and this is how he fell asleep.

Mother's Day at my house.  Pot of flowers for me and one for MarySue.

Breakfast served by the boy in pajamas with a tie.

Later in the afternoon we went to Jason's dad's house to give the flowers to MarySue.  It was the first time we'd gotten together since March.  We sat outside under umbrellas and visited.

This spring has been very warm so we were in need of the umbrellas.

We went to the hot springs with Andersons down in Saratoga Springs.

We celebrated Emma's birthday
We hiked up at the Temple quarray with Catheys.
Day after hike had this strange mark.  Didn't
hurt or itch.

Jacob has been hanging out with Bridger.  They decided at the end of the month to move.
I made some strawberry jam.

We went swimming at Anderson's grandparent's home and Jacob drove the golf cart.

Jacob is now mowing part of the lawn!  Yay!!

Michael and Jessi were married at the end of May.  With Covid they had a backyard ceremony with just immediate family.  They did Zoom the ceremony so we could all see it.   Heidi threw her a drive-through shower a few weeks beforehand.
Vietnamese Grilled Pork --so good

On Memorial Day the Primary presidency drove around with Creamies.
Celebrated Memorial Day at Karen's with a BBQ.

Cool cars we saw one day while out driving.

With Covid it was not possible to do the traditional high school graduation ceremony.  So they had us go on the side of the street by the high school and grads drove past on their way to the school...where they picked up their diploma, took pictures etc.  Many said that was more fun than the tradidional way.  We went to see one of our neighbors.
