Bear Lake

Sunday night Jason's brother came over and asked if we wanted to go with his wife to Bear Lake. They had a condo for a few days and he couldn't go. We thought it would be fun and went down on Monday.

We had a great view of the lake from our window.

We played at the park, in front of the lake.
Went swimming. Here Jacob is going from the pool, to the children's pool (getting out--Yea, Jason was there to help chase him),
and finally to the hot tub.
We also went down to the lake and played in the water. You could go out quite a ways and it was still shallow--which was great for kids!!

Please notice there are no pictures of me--basically because I had the camera most of the time, but also because I am under strict contract to not reveal my Sports Illustrated Cover shot for the swimsuit issue...you know how they are about that sort of thing. I then decided I needed to be in at least one shot...so I covered up the bikini, put on a hat and decided this wouldn't spoil anything for the upcoming SI issue. Ah the life of a swimsuit model...it is harder than you think! ;)

Hiking and Thanksgiving Point Dinos

Earlier this month we took a Saturday morning and hiked up to Lake Solitude. We had a great time.

Last week we went with all of our cousins on Jason's side and went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. Playing by his cousin Mylee. He didn't particularly like the feeling of the sand, but he splashed around a bit with it. Digging for dinosaurs. :)
The highlight of the whole trip...the .25 (free to those 3 and younger) ice cream cone!

Lagoon Day

Last Saturday Chevron had Lagoon Day for the employees. We had such a fun time with Jacob!

Here he is, waiting in line for his very first amusement park ride. Here he is as Jason straps him in. This did not last, he wanted out so we moved on to a ride where we could go with him.

Here we are on the swing.
He loved it!

He drove a car, flew in an airplane with dad,
and we took a train ride. This is what he thougth everytime we got off the rides--
he wanted to go again and could not understand why we couldn't just stay seated to do that.

He also wanted to drive a boat. We waited in a long line, finally got there, Jacob got in, but then began to change his mind. We thought that once it got going he would be fine. Well, this is what he thought of the ride. Maybe another time around and he'd be fine. Nope, still feeling the same way. This is the one ride he wanted to get off of!

End of the day and we were very hot and tired. A cool fountain felt good. Jason also got to ride a big boy roller coaster--Wicked. He loved it. It was a fun day and I can't wait to do it again next year!!
