May

How can I be so far behind!
First part of May the BYU folk dancers came to our Stake Center on  a Monday after school and did a dress rehearsal for the kids who could come and see it.   The Richards bldg., down at BYU was being renovated so they needed a space to practice.  Amy Jex, on my Stake Primary board, is their director--thus our opportunity to have them perform for us.  It was fun to see!!

Our deck--it needed help BADLY!  So Jason (with a small amount of help from Jacob and me) sanded the whole thing.  Then I did the first coat and he finished with a second coat--including underneath!   It turned out well!

Mother's day.  We went down to Heidi's after church to celebrate.
This picture at Jared's and Stephanie's--I can't remember why we were there, I think we just went for dinner.

Jacob had an orthodontist consultation to see if he needs any braces--none yet.

Jacob and I went to Randy and MarySue's for dinner one night while Jason was on a hiking trip with his college friends.  Stephen was there and let him use his air soft gun.

Climbing trees after scouts.

Jacob wanted to ride to and from school on his bike with Jason.  So on a 9/80 they did it.

In May we also found out that one of Jacob's good friends, Chase Anderson, was moving.  They have known each other all their lives and have played together.  It has been a sad thought.
Working on irrigation
Digging the trench

In May they Catheys, Jacob attends school with their son Jaxon, invited us to work on the Draper community garden with them.  Jason dug trenches and Wendy and I worked on the irrigation system.

We have 2 plots and with the bugs there they are not doing well.  Will be interesting to see if we get anything.

Digging, digging, digging

Over Memorial Day weekend we had the Wong family birthday party at our house.

On Memorial day we went with the Cathey's to a new splash pad in Bluffdale.  It is big and really fun!
Jacob on the twirling tree

I didn't manage to get any water pictures!
Zip line fun

Just before school got out I was able to schedule lunch with these 2 dear friends. I worked with both of them at Franklin Elementary. I've known Natalie and Jan for 25 years!  That is amazing.  It was fun to catch up and hear how they are doing.

On to summer!!
