Happy 4th of July! Every year we do our annual breakfast on our street and then the neighborhood bike parade.

After the bike parade, in the afternoon, I went down to Highland to meet up with Anna Champena Ocampo who was in town from Texas for her nieces wedding. Joy and April joined us and it was so fun to see her! It was like time had not passed. I wish we could have spent more time together! It was a great visit!
That night we went over the Jared and Stephanie's for dinner and fireworks. Here Mylee is painting Jason's fingernails so he can see how it feels.
That Saturday afternoon we went swimming at Dimple Dell with Catheys and then to their house for dinner.

The next week the kids participated in an Apple camp. Friday was the "graduation" where they presented their projects. When we arrived we sent Tom and Jason in with the kids while Wendy and I window shopped.
We came in and they had already started showing projects. Afterward, Jason told me that he and Tom were taking pictures of the kids and the 2 of them obviously knew each other and the kids. He said, "I bet people were thinking that the kids had 2 dads."
After the camp we went to lunch and then Jaxon came over to play.
That night Catheys came over for s'mores and to play.
Several months ago we had planned to try and do 5th water with Nefs and Catheys. Nefs ended up being in the middle of moving so we went to Bell Canyon Reservoir with Catheys.

Ahhh, hiking...not my thing if it has much climbing . I end up spending so much of my time looking at my feet that the joy is ripped right out of the event. I do like it when I arrive at a pretty point, but climbing up and over or down and over rock is not fun to me.
On the way down Jacob got bitten by something.

Chris' family came to town for Amy's wedding.Had them to dinner on Sunday night. Monday night we went to Mom's and saw Erick and Adrienne too. That night we brought Garrett home with us to spend the night and hang out on Tuesday. They went on a bike ride, helped me deliver a food order and we went swimming.

On the 24th we went over to Andy and Alex's house to swim. They had gone to China in June and we got to hear about where they visited and how it went. So fun to see them again!

That night we went to Jared's for dinner. Here is Janette trying to pour water into her mouth with a straight arm.
Glacier trip is next week!
