Heidi releasing her pent up energy that she normally stores up in order to take care of 6 children. Without the children, she has to let it out somehow. We allowed her to be herself! :)
After our trip I have had a hard time finding time to get back to this. Anyway, our trip was very fun. As you can see from the pictures we ate well, saw some sites and had a great time together. Les Mis was wonderful!
A few days after the trip Joy, Heidi and I were talking about how we need to make this a yearly event, but stay 2 days next time. Jason overheard us talking and had a suggestion to add to the tradition...that we all take our first borns with us! :)

That sounds like something John would say to me. Before I left for a funeral in Vegas on Sunday....John said "Don't you want to take Connor with you so you can show him off?". I told him I can either take Connor or my mother with me -- I don't have enough energy to do both. :)
