Self A: We need to clean the house today.
Self B: I do not want to clean house today, I am too tired.
Self A: Have you seen the way you have let the dusting go around here? The blinds are a mess. Every time I open them in the morning I see an "inch" of dust on them!
Self B: Stop opening them and you won't see the dust.
Self A: Ah, but if you vaccum and dust while the baby is asleep think of how good you'll feel about it.
Self B: Yawn
Self A won over Self B (Did you see the way she looked at me--after all we do for her!) and while the baby was asleep we got the upstairs vaccumed and dusted.
Bummer it woke up the baby.

SO FUNNY!!!! I just read this and the ding dong one; I agree they do not taste as good and they definitely seem smaller and I know my kids don't care for them the way I did as a kid. I think I have a Self A, B & C..C keeps saying "Maybe no one will notice how dirty my house is" Self A just doesn't win out enough in our house lately. I have to drag myself to clean. I am baking cookies though, pumpkin, chocolate chip...they smell and taste so delicious. I told Self A, B and C...ONLY ONE!!!!! LOL. Hey, do you have any time on Thursday or Friday of next week. It's Fall break and Lisa and I were wondering if you have time for a lunch or dinner or just to get together and play with the babies???
Very funny and so true. Self B usually performs out of obligation/guilt/sanitation concerns.
Amen to that. That story runs through my head whenever the kids are off-track. Wait until Jacob get older, he will mess it faster than you can clean it.

My LCD was going on my phone, it wouldn't charge, and it kept dying while i was trying to make calls. it got to the point that when i closed the phone it would just shut off so i would jsut have to leave it open all day long. so my mom renewed the contract and got me a new one. school is same old same old, we need a fall break.
