Yesterday was quite enjoyable. We didn't get to sleep in (that would make it an extraordinary day) :), but we were able to go to Draper Historical Park and hear the Air Force Band. That is their job. They do 400 concerts a year across the US recruiting and promoting "good will" as they call it.
Jacob loved the music. They even had bag pipes!

What a cool activity! That looks really fun! We missed you yesterday at mom and dad's. We worked in the yard all day and if you don't actually stand on our lawn to see the flaws, it looks good right now. This weekend we will bring in dirt and bushes... hopefully. I am tired of working on the house! :)
Oh thats so cool! How fun!!! AML!
We heard bagpipes at two different cemeteries yesterday and I thought it was so cool!
That sounds like fun. How did you know they were going to be playing there?
That's SO cool. We need follow your example and try and find more patriotic things to do on Memorial Day!
I love your motherhood post from a little while ago. Everything you said is so true. I also saw you and Jason and Jacob on a bike ride today--good for you--you all looked so cute!
Sharon,
We heard about the band in the Draper paper.
