Jacob is a great eater. He eats whatever we're having for dinner, from chicken to curry, he'll eat it. He loves fruits and about the only thing I have tried feeding him that he doesn't seem to like is tuna fish. Jacob also loves music. We were at our neighborhood park last week for Draper days. They had a band playing and he bounced around to the beat of the music and at the end of each song he clapped. I did not teach him to do that. He also likes to dance with mom (which I like because Jason is not a big fan of dancing and sees very little use for it).
A few weeks ago I had a chance to get together with some friends that I worked with in Young Women's about 10 years ago. Mikki and Kylie were able to come and brought their kids. They are the type of friends with whom you can just pick up where you left off from and chat--even though it has been about 2 1/2 years since I last saw them. Had a fun time!
Jacob loves anything with buttons. He has his own cell phone (my old one), but it doesn't beep etc. when he pushes the buttons. He will use it, but prefers my current phone, or our home phone. He will also put the TV remote control up to his ear and (during the day) be found saying a jumbled version of, "Hi Dad!" Here he was walking around with my phone and I didn't want it to drop, so we tucked it in his pants (his very own cell phone holder) and he walked around with it.
Last Friday Jacob's cousins came over for a swim and BBQ. As long as the water is not frigid he'll go in.
Here he is with Abby, Mylee and Emma.On Saturday we took him to Cabella's to see the fish.
He liked them for a time, but lake fish are rather dull in color. Tropical fish are much more intersting to look at!Did I also mention that he is interested in getting his driver's license?

How fun! Jacob is so cute..that is great that he eats so well, Neal is a bit pickier than my other two were. I need to check my calendar and I'll see Lisa tomorrow evening so maybe we can come up with something. This summer is going so quickly! Hope to see you soon! Hey..John Ferrin came by this morning with his cute wife, Angela, they were on the motorcycle on their way home to AZ. So fun to see them.
He is so cute! I remember all of those cuddle times with my boys. Now my youngest, who is 11, kind of cringes when I grab him and try to dance!

Those are great things to record about Jacob. When they get older they love to have you tell them things like that. Sometimes you think you will always remember some of these things, but, with time, you forget some. So, my hat is off to your for recording this stuff.

Such a fun post! How blessed you are to have a good eater. It is stressful when you know your kids have maybe eaten a total of a cup of food over a week's time! Double bonus that he's a dancer and appreciates music. I love it!
I'm so jealous that Jacob is a good eater - Eva isn't very interested in sitting down for more than 15 seconds to eat and she seems to get more and more picky as she gets older. I think she's alive due to YoBaby drinkable yogurt, pasta, and cheese - those are her staples along with whatever fruit she's willing to eat on any given day, which varies.
