Example #1 - Socks
I put them in pairs and fold the tops down.
Jason folds them in half, so the elastic doesn't get stretched out. My socks wear out in the heels before the elastic is stretched out.
Examle #2 - Underware
I fold the tops and bottoms together.
Jason folds the tops and bottoms seperately in 2 different piles. His tops need to be folded with the front out, sleeve folded back and then folded in half, very neatly.
Example #3 - Hanging clothes
When you look into our closet my shirts hang facing the entrance, or in my mind, they face forward.
When you look into our closet Jason's shirts hang facing the back wall, or in my mind, they face backward.
Example #4 - Pants
I fold my jeans with the zipper facing out. Otherwise the front of the pants sometimes don't lay flat when you go to wear them.
Jason folds his pants with the zipper inside the fold.
Example #5 - T-shirts
I don't have any pictures of this one.
I fold my t-shirts in half, push the sleeves back, and then fold in thirds. Since I really only wear the for exercising I don't care much if they are wrinkled.
Jason fold his t-shirts with the front folded out, sleeves folded back and then folded in half. Very neat.
Never ceases to amaze me that there is not even one item in the clothes folding/hanging area that we do the same. :)

That's SO funny! I love finding ou these little tid-bits. In reading this, first I have to thank you for not sharing the picture of your folded underwear... That would be TMI. And I have to say, it's also kind of fun to take notice that there are multiple ways to fold things. I'd never given it much thought. For instance, I fold my socks from the elastic down but stuff the toes inside as well, forming a ball. I will also admit I hand my shirts and fold my pants like your husband. Sounds like you and I fold our T-shirts the same though. So how do you fold your towels?
That is so funny Linde!! True. Most of the time I do the laundry. On occasion Eric has done it and he does fold and hang differently than I do. His shirt hang backwards like Jason's, and he folds his t-shirts the same as Jason and I am more like you. I also noticed over time that Eric likes to hang similar colors together so I have tried to be more careful to pay attention to the little things. He is far better at handling and folding clothes than I am, he worked retail for several years and just has a nack for it, but he NEVER complains..that I am thankful for.
Stephanie, I fold my towels in 1/3's so I can get more across the shelf. And you?
Yes Linde: We're in sync with the towel folding. Folding them in thirds is much more space friendly for my linen closet as well.
I also have to respond to Inez's comment about Eric sorting and hanging his shirts by color - I do that too!
That totally makes me laugh! I do the laundry so we don't have any folding differences, but when it comes to doing dishes....John loads the dishwasher MUCH different than I do. I guess this all comes from living on our own for soooo many years. : )
that is such a funny post. i never really noticed how we differ in that area! now i'm going to pay attention.
