Birthdays, lawn mowing, Field Trips, Lunch, 7 Peaks and Chicken

Ah May.  Busy month!!  We started out celebrating Wong family birthdays for Jacob, Sarah, Me, Stephanie, Randy, Stephen, Daniel, Hannah, Emma and Grace.  With weddings, etc. we had not had a chance to get together until May.
Twins with Dad

With May comes the mowing of the lawn.  I just love how neat it looks just after it is all done!  Like a freshly vacuumed carpet.
In March Birthe, Lisa, Inez and I got together for our birthday lunch.  We planned to meet again in May and we did!  Inez couldn't come, but it was fun to catch up with Lisa and Birthe.
In May, Uncle Chappy (Aunt Penny's husband) passed away from cancer.  Mom wanted to go to the funeral so Heidi and I took turns staying with Dad.

His health is better since he got home from the hospital, but they watch very carefully his intake of salt.  This has kept the water gain off and he had done better. If he overdoes it--the next day he is very tired.

I came down on Friday afternoon and stayed until Saturday afternoon.  Then Heidi stayed with him until Sunday night.

While I was with Dad Jacob went to the refinery with Jason.  They have a new administration building and they gave tours to families so they could see the new digs.

Jacob received his annual summer buzz haircut.

The 2nd grade went to the Utah Museum of Natural History

We went to Lehi 7 Peaks to play with Chase and Kyle.

And the highlight of the month???  Buying chicken in bulk, cutting, bagging, and freezing it.  Do we know how to have fun as a couple or what??
