January 2019!

 This winter has been snowy!  But if it's going to be cold it is nice to have snow.

On January 5th the ice rink did a free skate afternoon.  So we went again (went in December too) and had a good time.

For New Year's Eve we were going to have our normal get together, but we didn't schedule the building soon enough and ended up going to Elizabeth's.

We still wanted to get together so we did it the Saturday after New Year's, the 5th.  Had Nefs, Ahyous and Catheys over at the church for games, etc.

 I have always had a hard time making chocolate chip cookies here in Utah.  I asked Joy if she had the same problem and she told me Elizabeth had a good recipe.  I got hers and it works great!


On the 18th we had a day off school and went with Catheys and Nefs to Discovery Gateway.  It has been a long time since we've been there.  Had a fun time.

On Martin Luther King day we had a lot of snow again.  After I got it cleared we went to Dimple Dell to go swimming with Lucas Anderson.  We swam for about 45 mins before the power went out and we had to leave.

So Jacob and I went to see The Grinch at the $1 movies!

End of the month Jason and Jacob went to the hot springs up north with the scouts for winter camping. 

End of the month also began the month long work travels for Jason....
