We left Friday morning at 10 from Draper and got to Irina's about 11 a.m. We did a lunch stop at Denny's where I got my first senior discount lunch for being 55. WEIRD!!
We drove down and stopped at Cedar Breaks. Irina and I hiked a tiny bit to see the canyon.
Later we checked in at Holiday Inn and Express. Then we headed to Lupitas for dinner.
That night we went to the Shakespeare Festival and saw the play Joseph. It was wonderful! I think Jacob would have loved it!
Saturday Irina and I were up at 7:30, she went on a run and then we tried to get the others out of bed to go to breakfast.
After breakfast we drove to Parawon for a cinnamon roll. It was advertised as the thing to do. It was actually just trying to get you into town. We went to order and the waitress apologized because the only rolls they had left were those with raisins. Score!! I wouldn't have had one without raisins. You can take raisins out, but you can't put them in!
We visited the local drug store, the rock church (the first LDS church in that area) and then went back to Cedar City.
Hannah met up with her aunt to spend the afternoon with her and the rest of us went to the St. George temple to do initiatories.
We then went back to the hotel, met up with Hannah, had dinner and then went back to see the plays. Hannah and Irina saw Hamlet and MarySue, Jenny and I saw 12th Night.
Sunday we got up and headed for home.
School! We went school shopping and scored! Jacob needed another pair of jeans. We found 2 shirts and they were cheap at $4 and $5, but when the pants rang up at $2.97???? Amazing!!! Great school shopping.
Before school started we went with Catheys to Airborne to jump. They opened a new area and the kids loved it!
On Friday I took Jacob, Jaxon and Ashlyn to the skate park, but it was hot...because school was starting on Monday we went to Jacob's school to he could work on opening his locker and looking around.
Then we headed to Jaxon's school and saw where he would be attending.
