This morning I forgot to put down the chair by my computer. I was doing dishes in the other room and thought he was playing with his toys. No, he was climbing the chair and on to the table, from which he fell to the floor.
Round two. I was in the garage putting something in the car. I left the door into the garage open. It will stay open (sometimes) when it catches on the rug going into the house. But sometimes it shuts on its own and does so with force.
So please vote for me at www.who.lets.their.child.fall.twice.in.one.day.com Thank you.

Oh I'm so sorry Linde! Please know we have all been there before! Just know that in minutes they forget about it, and the bumps and bruises go away. Don't be so hard on yourself, it happens to the best of us! :)
I hate days like that! Thankfully, they all seem to live thru it... it is a miracle that we all reach adulthood! I am sorry you were more upset than he was. You are a great mom... take it from someone who took her son to the ER 4 times in one year for stitches...
Sorry you had a day like that. They are not fun. I'm glad you are both okay. YOU ARE A WONDERFUL MOM!!
Only twice? You are way too hard on yourself!
We all have had days like that! You try your best to "babyproof" and be safe, but somehow they can find ways around all our efforts. I think this is the exact reason kids are limber and flexible...it must help with all the falls they take.
Don't be so hard on yourself.
Don't feel too bad Linde. That's why kids are so resilient... Heavenly Father knows we're not perfect. You've got my vote! I also know you've got Jacob's vote too - he knows you are the best mom! BTW: love what appears to be your husbands tennis shoes standing tipy-toed on the garage stairs... What's that about?
